The ‘63 Jaguar Pickups authentically replicate the unique tone of the originals. Featuring Alnico V magnets, flat beveled poles, vintage spec Heavy Formvar wire with my own special wax blend and light potting technique. This removes microphonic’s and solidifies the coil but doesn’t dampen the pickup letting them sound open, articulate and responsive.

This set came about when I had an amazing sounding, but quite beat up 1963 Fender Jaguar come through the shop for some work. It sounded so killer I just had to recreate the sound of the pickups. A lot of reissue Jaguars tend to either sound very weak or just lack the character of the original pickups, tending to sound more like a standard single coil.

Supplied with claw and cover fitted.
